Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
The EARN website at earnonhood.com is operated by Smith Technology Consulting LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes information handled through this website and its supporting services. It does not describe a separately operated mobile application's own data practices. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@earnonhood.com.
Information we process
Wallet and blockchain information: when you connect a wallet or use a feature, we process relevant public addresses, network identifiers, balances, holdings, transaction details and signed messages. A wallet address is not necessarily anonymous and can be linked to other information about you.
Feature records: voting and creator features process submitted preferences, signatures, allocations, creation records and fee-distribution records. Bridge features process the addresses, amounts and transaction identifiers needed to prepare or track transfers.
Technical information: requests to the website, infrastructure and blockchain providers expose information such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested resources and browser or device request metadata. Infrastructure providers may retain operational and security logs.
Browser storage: the website and wallet integrations use local storage and similar technologies for wallet preferences, sessions, settings, saved drafts and pending transactions. Clearing site data may remove your local preferences or recovery information, but does not remove on-chain records or previously submitted server records.
Communications: if you contact us, we process the information you provide. If you use an AI-assisted feature, your submitted messages and relevant wallet or portfolio context can be sent to the model provider to generate a response. Do not include confidential information, private keys or seed phrases in messages.
Our wallet-connection interface does not require you to send us your seed phrase or private keys. Transaction authorization remains with your wallet.
Why information is processed
We process information to deliver requested features, display balances and activity, prepare transactions, verify signatures, maintain voting and creator records, respond to support requests, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity: performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service where those interests do not override your rights, compliance with law, or consent where required. You can withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Sharing and public records
We share information as needed with hosting and security providers, blockchain RPC providers, wallet-connection services, market-data and routing services, and providers supporting features you choose to use. AI providers receive submitted messages and relevant context when you use AI-assisted features. Independent wallet, bridge, token-issuer and protocol services also have their own terms and privacy practices.
We may disclose information to meet a legal obligation, respond to a lawful request, protect rights and security, or carry out a lawful business transfer subject to applicable protections.
Blockchain transactions and associated addresses are public. Others can copy, index and retain them indefinitely. We cannot delete or make private information recorded on public blockchains. Public information should not be treated as anonymous simply because it uses an address instead of a name.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. Browser data remains until cleared or removed by the relevant feature or wallet integration. Off-chain voting, creation and distribution records can remain after a transaction completes because they support feature operation, reconciliation and dispute resolution; not all such records expire automatically. Infrastructure logs follow the relevant provider's retention settings. Support information may be retained to resolve your request and associated disputes or obligations.
You can request deletion of personal information we control at contact@earnonhood.com. We will assess what can be deleted, what must be retained and any applicable legal exceptions. Public blockchain records and records independently controlled by other providers cannot be removed by us.
We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no network, application or storage system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can disconnect your wallet, clear browser site data and stop using optional features. Disconnecting does not revoke existing on-chain token approvals or delete previously submitted information. Manage wallet permissions and token approvals through your wallet or an appropriate blockchain interface.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Email contact@earnonhood.com to exercise these rights. We may need proportionate verification of your request, but will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
International processing, children and changes
Infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your country, where data-protection rules may differ. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your request. Applicable legal requirements for international transfers continue to apply.
The website is intended for adults aged 18 or older, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and respond appropriately.
We may update this policy as services or practices change. The date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or request consent where required by law.
Terms and Conditions
Website operator and scope
The EARN website at earnonhood.com is operated by Smith Technology Consulting LLC ("Operator", "we", "us"). These Terms apply to the website and its supporting services. Questions can be sent to contact@earnonhood.com.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18, have capacity to enter into an agreement, and be permitted to use the relevant services in your location. Do not use the website for unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, fraud, market manipulation or interference with the service or other users. Access may be restricted for security or legal reasons.
Tokens, liquidity pools and terminology
EARN provides an interface to blockchain tokens, multi-asset liquidity pools and related smart contracts, including on Robinhood Chain. Transactions are executed through blockchain contracts rather than through a conventional brokerage account provided by this website.
Within EARN, "ETF", "fund", "portfolio" and "shares" describe on-chain token baskets and tokens representing interests in liquidity pools. These labels are not a representation that a pool is a conventional exchange-listed ETF or registered investment fund. References to "stocks", company names or tickers identify tokens or their referenced assets, not necessarily direct ownership of a company's shares.
Any ownership, voting, dividend, backing or redemption rights depend on the actual token, its issuer's terms and applicable law. ERC-20 is a technical standard, not a legal classification or a guarantee of unrestricted transferability. Tokens may have fees, administrator controls, freezes, restrictions or redemption conditions. Permissionless contract access does not remove legal obligations. These Terms do not determine or change an asset's legal status.
A listing, ticker, logo or network reference does not establish an endorsement, partnership or guarantee by EARN, the referenced company or the network operator.
Wallets and authorization
You authorize transactions through your wallet. Check the network, contract, recipient, amounts, approvals and minimum output before signing. Keep wallet credentials secure and never disclose your seed phrase or private keys to support.
Confirmed blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed by the Operator. Disconnecting a wallet does not revoke existing approvals. Independent wallets, protocols, bridges and issuers have their own terms, controls and risks. Self-custody of your wallet does not eliminate smart-contract, issuer or administrator risk after you deposit assets.
Fees, rewards and creator compensation
Transactions can incur network, trading, protocol, issuer and bridge fees, as well as slippage and price impact. Failed transactions can still incur network fees. Review the available transaction details before authorization.
Trading and arbitrage can generate pool fees, but overall returns also depend on market movements, costs and losses. APRs, rewards, quotes, valuations and charts are estimates or observations, not guaranteed returns or execution prices. Rewards may change or end.
Where Creator Mode is offered, the displayed program terms govern eligibility and the creator's share of protocol fees. Distributions may require treasury approval and are not necessarily automatic or immediately claimable. Creator compensation can create an incentive to promote a pool. Deposits alone do not guarantee trading activity or fees.
Risks and no personalized advice
You can lose some or all of the value committed. Risks include volatility, inadequate liquidity, arbitrage and rebalancing losses relative to other strategies, smart-contract exploits, pricing failures, bridge failures, issuer default, administrator changes, outages and legal restrictions. Withdrawal or redemption may be delayed, restricted or unavailable. Diversification does not eliminate these risks.
Information, rankings and AI-generated responses are not personalized investment, legal or tax advice or assurances of suitability. You remain responsible for your decisions and applicable taxes. Obtain independent advice where needed.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and third-party information are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, complete data or particular outcomes. We may change or suspend features for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Interface availability does not guarantee that a blockchain transaction can be completed or that an alternative interface exists.
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for losses caused by independent third-party services or your unauthorized or incorrect instructions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights or liability for fraud. These Terms do not waive statutory rights.
Privacy and updates
The Privacy Policy explains information handling through the website. We may update these Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. Contact contact@earnonhood.com with questions.
